I’ve had this blog up and running for a while now, but I’ve never really known what to do with it. I write every now and then, but the truth is most things seem to slip through my fingers before I think to document them here. I guess a part of my problem is I wonder whether things like recipes or house projects or what I did today posts are exciting enough to write about.
And yet, on the other hand, I’m obsessed with other blogs that do just that. abeachcottage, apricot-tea, yourwishcake, kylaroma, moreisbetter, confessions of a jersey girl, edge of thirty, and so much more. I’ve always shied away from having one of those types of blogs and I don’t know why.
Maybe, its because I don’t think my own life is interesting enough to share with the world. Well, dear readers, I’ve decided that I don’t care anymore! I’m just going to write about what’s happening on any given day, and I hope you find at least some of what I have to say worth a read.

I think it’s a great idea and look forward to reading more.
I have the same problem all the time. I mostly write about travel, but I don’t travel that much all the time to stay interesting. Now I try to think of my Blog as being for me and edited version of my life and if others appreciate my perspective and read, all the better.
Those things are exciting enough to write about! I love reading the posts that offer a peek at someone’s life.
I think that’s a great move. I bet it will help you write with might.
GOOD FOR YOU!
I’ve felt the same way A TON OF TIMES – but I just keep writing (whether it is interesting or not). I’m going to try to incorporate more DIY/recipes/projects into my blog so it might become useful to someone, but mostly, I’m going to ramble on as usual!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I have a “personal blog,” as I think you know but I certainly don’t think i’m that interesting. Blogging started out as therapeutic but it’s turned into so much more for me. I vote that you start a personal blog/blog more
You’re in the Google Reader!
I was just thinking about this myself. I fell off writing my blog for almost a year now because of a major life change (a good one tho) and I’ve had trouble seeing what I could possibly write about that would be of interest to others. My daily life will have to do.
And thanks, by the way, for checking up on me a few months ago.
